Dr. Ghattas is a Didactic Professor at New York School of Career & Applied Studies (NYSCAS), Medical Imaging Program, Touro College. Dr. Ghattas earned his Bachelor degree in Medicine in 1989. In 1995 he got his Master of Medicine.

Dr. Ghattas is certified in MRI by American registry of MRI Technologists. He is involved in teaching in the areas of: MRI physics and related sciences, Patient Care, Cross Sectional Anatomy, Interventional Radiology (IR), Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) and Cardiovascular Intervention Technology (CVIT).
