AAS Completion Program in Health Sciences

If you hold a certificate in radiologic technology and graduated from an accredited JR-CERT Radiologic Technician Program and would like to upgrade your credentials, this program is for you. An Associate in Applied Science is the current required entry-level degree for the Radiologic Technology profession, and our program provides the additional necessary education and credentials to help you advance in medical imaging roles in an increasingly complex healthcare environment.

Admissions Requirements/What You Will Need to Apply:

The completion program has the same admissions requirements as the traditional AAS degree, with two additions:

  • You hold current certification as a radiologic technologist
  • You have a current state license or temporary license

Curriculum

The completion program is 24 liberal arts credits at NYSCAS. You must have credit for the courses listed below, either at NYSCAS or as transfer credits. If you have taken any of the courses listed below and transferred credits you will need to taken another liberal arts course at NYSCAS.

You can complete the program in one year. Courses can be taken asynchronously online (at whatever time is convenient for you), synchronously on Zoom (set times, with a virtual class), on-campus in a traditional classroom. You pick the time and pace that work best for you.
