Alan Rodin, MA
Assistant Professor
Professor Alan Rodin has a Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from Northwestern University and a Master of Arts in Psychology from Pepperdine University. He earned his Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in Speech and Theatre, with departmental honors, from Brooklyn College. He is licensed as both a Speech-Language Pathologist and a Marriage and Family Therapist.
At NYSCAS, Professor Rodin presently teaches Public Speaking. Within his career at Lander College for Men and The City University of New York, he has taught Speech and Hearing Disorders, Basic Speaking and Listening Skills, Phonetics, Accent/Dialect Modification, and Developmental Psychology.
Professor Rodin has appeared on numerous television and radio shows including The Today Show on WNBC-TV, and All Things Considered on National Public Radio (NPR), and was featured in the book Brooklyn: A State of Mind (Robbins and Palitz).
