Professor Dreifus holds an MBA in Finance from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He was a commercial lending officer for over a decade, and then segued into commercial mortgage brokerage. Professor Dreifus is now the principal of an eponymous mortgage brokerage and business consulting firm, has developed several new courses and programs for the department, and has authored or co-authored over two dozen articles. He is also a member of the Faculty Senate, and is an adjunct member of the graduate faculty of the NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering.
