Judy Deutsch has been teaching in the Languages and Literature Department in SCAS since 2000. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Touro College and her graduate degree from Fordham University. In addition, she has taken additional courses and credits above her Master’s. Deutsch has New York State Certification in several domains including reading and special education; she returned to Touro to obtain her bilingual education extension. Deutsch teaches English foundation classes including Intro to CW, CWI and CWII. She also tutors and mentors ESL students. Deutsch has created and maintained a close relationship with many former students.
