Teaching Philosophy:
“I love sharing my experience with young adults as they acquire the knowledge of terms and techniques for their future profession in speech-language pathology. I especially love teaching the Public Speaking course and watching my students emerge as skilled and confident public speakers. Students come to this required course with different levels of skill and confidence, and my job is to meet them where they are, take them to higher levels, and watch them soar! Nothing pleases me more than when former students write to me to say how they used the techniques they learned in their educational, business, or social pursuits.”
