You must first complete nine (9) credits in education. Then you must meet with the education faculty advisor to apply for admission to the education major program.

Admissions criteria

You must meet the following requirements:

• overall GPA of 3.0 (B) or higher;
• 3.0 GPA or higher in all education courses
• a grade of “B” or better in both College Writing I and College Writing II
• writing proficiency - you will be required to write a short essay at the interview

You will need to bring a current student transcript with you to your interview with the education faculty advisor.
