William Kunz has been a full time faculty member of the mathematics department for the New York School of Career and Applied Studies of Touro College for over 20 years and holds the rank of assistant professor.  He also serves as deputy chair of the department.  He teaches all levels of mathematics offered at NYSCAS and acts as a mentor for the Freshman Mentorship Program.  He has also served on numerous committees including faculty development, the Committee on Academic Standing, Academic Council, Committees on General Education for both associate’s and bachelor’s levels and various accreditation, assessment and departmental committees.

Professor Kunz has taught mathematics, statistics and in various business departments at both the undergraduate and graduate level for over 30 years at numerous colleges and universities in New York, Connecticut and Rhode Island. He has designed new courses, written on business subjects, taught seminars on finance and investment and served as a college administrator during his career in higher education.  He holds degrees from the City University of New York and St. John’s University and also studied higher rducation at Columbia University and is a member of both the national business honor society (Beta Gamma Sigma) and the International Economics Society (Omicron Delta Epsilon).
