Dr. Mohammed Chowdhury has been teaching at Touro University since 2001. Prior to Touro, he taught at Monroe College, Metropolitan College of New York, Central Michigan University, University Utara Malaysia, and North-South University in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He has also worked for Touro University Berlin as part of the faculty exchange program and served as resource person at Chittagong University under the Higher Education Quality Enhancement Project, a World Bank-sponsored project operated by the University Grants Commission, Ministry of Education, where he focused on improving teaching and research methodology for academia.
Dr. Chowdhury has published numerous peer-reviewed articles and co-authored a textbook on the principles of microeconomics. He has served on the doctoral dissertation committee at Lynn University, regularly reviews articles in academic journals, and is an external examiner of PhD theses for Aligarh Muslim University and Birla Institute of Technology, India.
