Anna Chen, MSN, MBA, FNP, is an Assistant Professor of Nursing at Touro University. She is an experienced nurse educator and clinician with more than 18 years in critical care and emergency nursing. She teaches Medical-Surgical Nursing and Health Assessment, where she integrates evidence-based practice and active learning strategies to prepare students for safe and effective nursing practice.

Professor Chen is a Nurse Educator in the Emergency Department, where she mentors new graduate nurses in a residency program, helping them transition into practice and develop critical thinking skills essential for clinical excellence. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), with a focus on improving early sepsis recognition and treatment in emergency care. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), a Master of Business Administration (MBA), and is licensed as a Family Nurse Practitioner in New York State.
