Dr. Batson is president of Batson Communications & Entertainment Company and a consultant for the Rossi Psychological Group. He earned his BA from Fordham University, his MA from Columbia University with a specialization in communications, and his doctorate from the University of Maryland, University College.
Dr. Batson has been teaching a variety of writing and literature courses at Touro since September 2000. He has also taught various courses in English, literature, public relations, and ESL at numerous other colleges throughout his career, including Medgar Evers College, Mercy College, Baricua College, and more.
He’s worked on communications, marketing, publicity, and fundraising campaigns for a long list of musicians, companies, and institutions, including the American Jazz Theatre, Brooklyn Academy of Music, New York Shakespeare Festival, CBS News, and WNET.
