Cynthia Swangin, B.A., LMSW, has a Master of Social Work degree in social administration from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania.  Her professional experience includes psychiatric social work, mental health counseling, workforce development, career counseling, case-management and teaching.  Her compassion, desire to motivate, inspire, and empower others have transferred into the academic community.   She joined Touro College as an adjunct professor in the fall of 2004 and is currently full-time faculty, serving as deputy chair of human services.
