Edna Davis received a Master’s degree from Hunter College and has taken additional graduate courses in teaching writing and ESL and in counseling. She has been a faculty member at Touro College for more than 20 years, starting with ESL classes when the focus of the program was on new Americans.  As the program developed,  her teaching expanded to teaching college writing; she has also taught cinema. She currently coordinates the writing program for Machon L'Parnasa, including curricular development. Under former Dean Mira Felder, Prof. Davis developed syllabi for the writing classes at NYSCAS.  She also teaches English at Prospect Park Yeshiva High School where she served as chairman of the English department.
