Yasin Wheeler, of Harlem, had a short stint at Monroe College before his son was born. Almost fifteen years later, Wheeler decided it was time to go back and get a college degree. “My friend came here and recommended it to me,” Wheeler said. Currently, Wheeler works in construction, but he’s always nursed an interest in computers and plans to major in computer science and switch professions.
